De vuelta - We're back

Holaaaaaaaaaa:

Mucho tiempo desde que no escribimos en el blog. ¿Qué mejor fecha para volver que el año nuevo? Antes que nada: Feliz Navidad y Año Nuevo a todos y todas...
Quizá el Jefe necesitaba un "descanso" del blog (esperamos que no de nosotros, aunque a veces hay uno que se porta regular, y no miro a ninguno que tiene rizos....), también por los estudios que ahora le tienen absorbido y bueno, esas cosas de humanos que no entendemos.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii:
We haven't posted for ages! But what a good day to be back, it's New Year. First, we'd like to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody.
Perhaps our Boss needed a rest (we hope he doesn't want us to be away... althoug sometimes there is some of us who behaves badly, and I wouldn't like to point to a curled hair little dog). He's been also involved in his new studies and some other human issues we don't (want to) understand.

Estamos todos bien, yo (Byron) tengo la cadera bastante bien he pasado todo el año haciendo el bruto pero manteniéndome. El Xinver tiene ahora el pelo largo, el Jefe se lo ha dejado así por el invierno. La gatita Tris está fenomenal también, con el pelo muy largo por el frío...

We're alright. I (Byron) tell you that my hip works pretty well (I suffer from dysplasia), in fact I have run and played a lot during all the year without any problem. Xinver has a long hair now, our Boss wanted him to look handsome and have some protection from the cold. Our pussycat Tris is also fantastic.

Y bueno, estábamos en la rutina de siempre, ahí en casa, el Jefe nos hizo unas fotos. Ya veis, el Xinver abrigado no porque tuviera frío sino por una tontería de esas de los humanos cuando quieren hacernos fotos, y yo jugando con un nuevo "león" que tenemos (no sé por qué se empeña el Jefe en llamar "leoncito" a todos los juguetes-animalitos que nos regalan..., será tonto!)...
Ok, we were in our daily routine, at hom, and our Boss took some pics. You see, Xinver is covered by a blanket not because he were freezing at all, but because the Boss wanted to take a funny picture. An you can see me playing with our new "lion" (I dont' know why our Boss calls "little lion" all of our toys... he's just a fool!)...



Repentinamente, el día 29 de diciembre, una actividad frenética: maletas, mantas, toallas, comida.... Qué lío. Algo raro estaba al caer.
Finalmente, ante la palabra mágica delante del coche: "UP", nos subimos al mismo pero nos quedamos con una cara como de preguntar: ¿adónde vamos?:
Suddenly, on 29th december, a frantic activity was developed: suitcases, blankets, towels, food... What a mess! Something exciting was about to come.
Finally, we were took to the car and we heard the magic word: "UP", and we got on the car but wondering... where do we go?:

Y allá que nos fuimos, uf....... muchas horas de viaje, menos mal que el Jefe paraba cada ratito para que pudiéramos hacer nuestras cosillas y correr un poco.
And there we went..., uf..... too many hour traveling... but our Boss is very kind and we often stopped to relieve ourselfes and to have some fun.

Después de 6 horas de coche vimos cosas que nos sonaban mucho:
After 6 hours we could recognize the landscape:

Y, al fin, ya sabíamos adónde íbamos... Al sitio que estuvimos en septiembre, a la sierra de Gredos, pero esta vez con el frío...... mmm.

Ya pronto llegamos a la casita que conocíamos y, claro, estábamos ansiosos de recorrer todo y de.... El Jefe nos advirtió: "el agua ahora está muy fría, ya sé que el Xinver es un perro de aguas y que el Byron se apunta a todo cuando hay juerga, pero está muy muy fría, cuidado..."

An so, we already knew where we were going to... the place we went on holiday in September, to Gredos, but this time was winter... mmm.

Soon we arrived to the little cottage we stayed in summer and, of coure, we were dying to run about ... But the Boss give us a piece of advice: "now it's different, the river is chilled... I know that you, Xinver, are a Spanish Waterdog and that you, Byron, bathe in the river without any doubt to enjoy yourself, but the water is very cold.... be careful..."


Qué tonto el Jefe.... Nada más llegar al río el Xinver metió la cabeza en el agua y vio que la temperatura era ¡Ideal! No sabemos pero dice el Jefe que en el aire había 3ºC. Nos daba igual, estuvimos un buen rato chapoteando y nadando, y así hemos despedido el año. WE'RE BACK.

What a silly man the Boss is... the first thing Xinver did when arriving to the river is to dip his "big" head into the water and told me: the temperature is fine! The Boss said that the temperature of the air was 3º C... We didn't mind, we were splashing and swimming for a long time and... that's the way we said goodbye to 2008. WE'RE BACK.
